Isabella Waywell is DSJ's head girl and, on top of that, in the Abitur stream — chemistry is her written exam subject, which keeps the pressure on through this final school year. Between prefect duties she is a committed sportsperson, juggling homework, tennis, meetings and the occasional TikTok scroll. The sports day with neighbouring schools that her prefect team launched last year is, in her view, the best thing they've done so far — and they want to make it an annual fixture.
